MEDICAL PIONEER DAVID SIMON M.D. RETURNS TO HOMETOWN CHICAGO TO SPEAK ON MAY 27th, 2009 AT THE SOFITEL O’HARE
David Simon M.D, Medical Director, CEO and co-founder of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, returns to his beloved hometown Chicago to speak about his new book “Free to Love, Free to Heal.” An Evening with David Simon M.D, is being held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the Sofitel O’Hare from 7:00-9:00 PM. Dr Simon is a graduate of the University of Chicago Medical School and a board certified neurologist, as well as an expert in the use and effectiveness of holistic healing practices.
In his work as an author and teacher, Dr Simon explores the strong link between emotional and physical health and healing, lecturing at Harvard Medical School, Tufts and Tulane University among others.
Dr Simon has been called inspiring, witty, thought provoking and heart-opening by many of his audiences. A question and answer session and a book-signing will follow his talk.
Dr. Simon’s message in his newest book is that it is necessary to identify and release the life-damaging beliefs and painful memories which can contribute to anxiety and stress, addictive behaviors, pain and fibromyalgia, depression, obesity, and chronic fatigue syndrome as well as other physical, mental and emotional illnesses.
